Urban Media: Jupiler projects its new design in XXL holograms

Never before seen in Belgium, Jupiler is unveiling the sleek, modern new look of its can in the largest outdoor holographic projection ever made. This mind-boggling creation, measuring 9 metres by 13 metres, can be seen on a huge 700m² tarpaulin.

This Wednesday, the public had the surprise of discovering the new design of the Jupiler can through a holographic window integrated into a 700m² tarpaulin, located right in the heart of Antwerp on the Oudevaartplaats. This unprecedented technological achievement is reflected in an impressive sequence: the new can is manipulated by a giant hand from various angles in an explosion of ice, before finally falling out of the huge tarpaulin onto the roof of the building. A real technological feat, the giant holographic projection delights the spectators who turn out in their numbers to admire this superb work.

"We chose to work with Urban Media to announce a notable change of look for Belgium's favourite beer.

The technological prowess of these giant holographic projections perfectly honours Jupiler's new identity. The staging of the can in this stunning virtual animation infuses the packaging with extra dynamism compared with a traditional poster campaign. In this way, the visual remodelling becomes an animated show, adding an innovative and relevant dimension for consumers. A successful technological gamble!" says Corinne Verstraete, Media Manager AB InBev.

The campaign runs from 8 November to 5 December in Antwerp, and is the result of a collaboration between AB InBev, Adrenaline Studio, Posterscope, Urban Media and Clear Channel.
