Bauer Media Outdoor renews its advertising contract with Waterloo

Bauer Media Outdoor announces the renewal, for a period of 15 years of its street furniture contract with the City of Waterloo. This partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration and confirms the shared commitment to delivering a modern, useful and sustainable communication infrastructure at the heart of the public space.

The agreement covers around forty advertising assets, combining digital screens with classic panels. These will strengthen Bauer Media Outdoor’s existing DOOH offering in Waterloo and ensure a balanced and high-performing presence across the municipality’s main thoroughfares and key living areas.

With over 30,000 inhabitants, Waterloo stands out for its high average income level and a socio-demographic profile that is particularly attractive to brands, reinforced by an international population. A highly sought-after residential municipality, it combines purchasing power, quality of life and strong commercial activity. The dense local fabric, comprising numerous points of interest, shops, restaurants and services, generates constant footfall throughout the day.

In line with sustainability principles and in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of the contract, 50% of the existing street furniture will be refurbished. Each unit will also be equipped with a bicycle repair module, and a portion of the digital inventory will be entirely dedicated to municipal communication, ensuring continuous visibility for messages of public interest.

Through this renewal, Bauer Media Outdoor reaffirms its ambition to support cities over the long term by developing responsible, effective and integrated (D)OOH solutions for local authorities, citizens and advertisers.
